Howdy,

I am sorry for not writing in the weekly bulletin lately; I was in El Salvador with Nuestros Pequenos Hermanos for two weeks and then came home with only one week to move. My lease was up on my apartment and we decided not to pay month-to-month because that is more expensive. To save money I have moved to St. Simon and Jude Cathedral where I will be assigned in July. I cannot tell you how great it is to be back in a rectory with other priests! However, I do have a 45 minute commute back and forth.

We only have one more week of Lent and then it is Holy Week! I would remind you that Fr. Fred is on sabbatical and Fr. Chuck is also helping Fr. Jilson in Fountain Hills, so please do not wait until the last minute to go to confession. We have confessions next Wed, Mar 29 and next Sat, Apr 1. Also, we will have confessions on Wed, Apr 5, of Holy Week and Good Friday from 10:00am –12:00pm. There are no confessions on Holy Saturday.

I pray your Lenten observance is going well and that we are all ready to celebrate the gift of eternal life at Easter.
