About St. Bernard of Clairvaux Catholic Church
St. Bernard of Clairvaux Catholic Church is located in northeast Scottsdale, AZ, nestled in the base of the McDowell Mountains.
Founded on July 1, 1994 by Rev. John J. Vogt, St. Bernard's serves over 1,250 families. Our beautiful Church and Administrative Center were built in 1998 and in 2011 we completed our new Parish Event Center providing space for our growing community. The Parish Event Center houses our parish hall, music rehearsal room, teen center, coffee shop, elementary faith formation classrooms and ministry meeting space.
St. Bernard of Clairvaux is a parish in the Roman Catholic Diocese of Phoenix. Established by Pope Paul VI on December 2, 1969, the Diocese is comprised of 43,967 square miles including the counties of Maricopa, Mohave, Yavapai, and Coconino (excluding the territorial boundaries of the Navajo Indian Reservation), and also includes the Gila River Indian Reservation in Pinal County, Arizona. The Diocese of Phoenix is led by the Most Rev. John P. Dolan, Bishop of Phoenix and the Most Rev. Eduardo A. Nevares, Auxiliary Bishop of Phoenix.
