It seems like the activities never end...and that is a good thing! On Saturday evening, we held the Gala for the Nuestros Pequenos Hermanos. We welcomed our guest speaker, Marlon Velasques, the National Director of our home in Nicaragua sharing his experiences with us. Thank you to all of those who attended this wonderful event.

Next weekend is our annual Ministry Fair. Please plan to stop by and see all the activities and ministries available to you. It is a great time to sign up to help one of our ministries.

On Saturday, November 5, our diocese will celebrate the ordination of a number of new permanent deacons. This is a good time to remind you men that we need more permanent deacons, especially here at St. Bernard since Deacon Alan has retired...although he is still working a little. If you are interested in the diaconate, please talk to Deacon Alan, Fr. Simon or me. You can also call the Office of the Diaconate at the diocesan center.

Finally, you will all begin to hear more about our Rectory since our committees have been working through the summer. We are through the city and now are working with the diocese to prepare to begin.
