This weekend's readings invite us to reflect on the importance of human relationships. At first, Jesus' words in the Gospel may sound challenging: "Whoever loves father or mother more than me is not worthy of me." Yet Jesus is not asking us to love our families less. Rather, He is teaching us that the fullest and most authentic way to love others is through Him and in Him. His love is the perfect model for every human relationship.
