The Hispanic Ministry was founded on 2001, with the purpose of letting know the Parishioners about the Apparitions to St. Juan Diego in Mexico City of Our Lady of Guadalupe, and also to spread the word that she is the Patron of the Arizona Dioceses and all America. The Hispanic Ministry decided to honor her the first Saturday of each month with a Mass in Spanish at 8:30AM We will also have bilingual Confessions before Mass, and a breakfast follow by a meeting in the old Parish Center.
We still offer English lessons for Spanish speaking persons in a private home and there is no charge. We are not longer offering Spanish Lessons for children as we did for 10 years. We celebrate the month of Mary in May with a Mass in Spanish, offering of the flowers, and a Mexican breakfast.
Our biggest Celebration is in the month of December when we’ll have the festivities for the Lady of Guadalupe on December 10, 2016 at the 5:PM Mass. A procession, a bilingual Mass with Mariachis, piñatas, Mexican dinner, dancing, raffles, etc. We invite you to join us and bring your children, because this is a family party. You can find more information in the Sunday Bulletins during October and November.
