Safe Environment Training
The 2026-2027 Safe Environment Training year began July 1.
All clergy, staff, and volunteers serving in any ministryespecially those where minors are presentmust complete their annual Safe Environment requirements by September 30.
- Returning participants: Do not create a new account. Log in to your existing CMG account. If your background check is current (expires after July 1, 2027), simply complete the Online Renewal course. If you have not renewed in several years, the system may require you to complete the Foundation course instead.
- New participants: Create an account on the CMG website, complete the Foundation course, and submit your background check. Both are required before you may serve.
If your training has lapsed, your account may have been archived. Please contact Kathie Stine to have it reactivated before renewing.
This year's training emphasizes recognizing the signs of child abuse and our shared responsibility to provide a safe environment for children and vulnerable adults.
