Safe Environment Training Renewal

There seems to be some confusion over Safe Environment Training as we are coming out of almost three years under Covid restrictions and absences. Many of you have not kept up with Annual Renewal in the past three years and due to audits you have been archived (put into an inactive file)! Every volunteer must complete Safe Environment Training, each year, in order to serve in ministry within the diocese.

The Safe Environment Training year begins July 1 and ends June 30. This means EVERYONE is out of compliance on July 1st of every year! If you haven’t done so since July 1, 2022 you need to sign in to the CMG website, update your information and take the ONLINE (not the LIVE) Renewal. If it has been more than three years since you last completed a course you will be asked to take the Foundation Course. Again, please make sure you take the ONLINE course not the LIVE.

For those of you who have already created an account please do not attempt to create another one.

  • If you forgot your password just click “forgot password”
  • if you forgot your username just click “forgot username"

If you can’t find your name in the system it probably means you have been archived and you will need to notify Kathie Stine, Safe Environment Coordinator, through email or phone 480-661-9843 ex 314 and I will retrieve your information for you.

If you are new to ministry and have not registered on the CMG website you will begin your training by going to this website and set up your account and take your required training.

Please know that we are grateful to all who wish to participate in ministry at St. Bernard’s and we recognize all that you do for the Church and our community in keeping everyone safe. Please continue to pray for all those who have been hurt by abuse and please do not hesitate to call or email Kathie Stine, Safe Environment Coordinator, should you have any questions or difficulty with the CMG website.
